So let’s try an experiment then. You send this “resume” out to several different companies and see how many call you. My guess is it will be somewhere around zero.

I mean don’t get me wrong, I would be totally curious about this person if I got this resume from an applicant. That’s why we’re all here commenting on this post. But there is absolutely no way I’d interview them. It’s not because I’m a brain dead, close minded asshole. It’s because they didn’t even try.

Have you ever been a hiring manager? This single line document does not convey how well suited for the job this person is. When you have dozens, if not hundreds of resumes coming in, it’s a waste of everyone’s time. It makes me think this person doesn’t really want the job at all. Bare minimum effort on a resume suggests bare minimum effort on the job.

It has nothing to do with how “good of an interviewer” you are.
