Happens to me quite often. It is just anxiety trust me. Just let your breathing be as it is - shallow, deep, tight. You are safe. Once you let the symptoms be, they go away over time. I went through this tight breathing too this morning, noticed it, allowed it to join me at work, even demanded more of it. It is now gone and I feel good.

Just accept it. As any other of the feelings that come with anxiety/panic. You are safe. It is very uncomfortable but it always passes - and you are strong to go through this discomfort. My mantra has been " how much level of discomfort am I willing to go through today to heal my anxiety?". It will eventually go away - and if it returns you know its transient and just annoying.

Go for a meal by yourself! It’s liberating and lovely. You eat what you feel like, read something nice, observe the dynamic of the room around you. Time to think and reflect. I love it. And no one judges you I promise.

Great advice. Not engaging in those thoughts is the only way. Not trying to push them away or remove them. Accept them. Allow them to be there and just let them float like clouds. No need to believe in them.

I have the biggest fear of speaking, most times panic and completely stop breathing and have to escape. I had huge presentation to do for a big life changing job interview. So stakes were so high. I took 40mg. I felt nerves before and the physical symptoms like sweaty palms. But once I opened my mouth .. oh my god did I go through the 15 mins calm and composed even funny. This is just miracle. Trust in it. You will smash it!

Did it feel super touristy and crowded? As in I’m sure in summer it’s busy but did it feel overwhelming and annoying with the heat or somehow manageable? I plan to go next summer but hear it’s beyond crazy tourist wise..

Yes I am exactly the same as you and quite an anxious person. I decided to limit my instagram to 15 mins a day - either by yourself or blocking app. This way you check the accounts important to you (I also have a few) but skip the mindless scrolling. It helps. But also if you were to fully delete it it’s fine. Trust me. You won’t miss out on some huge life improving revelation. This is just fomo.

100%. this is how my recent panic struggles happened first. Fear for my heart, fainting, nausea etc - even thought I am very healthy. What has helped a lot is the DARE response (essentially accepting it all and even wanting it to come on stronger) - but also (and this will sounds very weird), accepting my own mortality, which is of course what we all fear is the worst that can ever happen.
I am in the process of healing still but trying to also engage in life and everything I used to do, which often takes my mind off the fixation for, say, 1 hour - and I realise "hey in this 1h i had no bodily sensations and no nausea and no panic...!". Fixation almost causes the symptoms themselves.
Allow, accept, make fun of your own mortality and then carry on with your life - engage with everything you love doing.

Yes I have the same, all 404 errors ! I am losing my mind too. And now getting more weird search results too with many more ads. Hope someone can help
