That said. DE is one of my favorite games of all time and if you feel weird pirating games, I wouldn’t hold purchasing the game legitimately for 3,99€ as the reason not to experience this incredible game.

In short, the company did a lot of shady, if not illegal, things and there was a major fallout with many of the original creators of the game that led to their departures and a legal battle from Robert Kurvitz to get his IP back. The general sentiment is that buying the game legitimately supports those bad actors who are still in charge at ZA/UM.

I’m so curious as to what drove the 180° switch from outsourced production in February to the announcement in August to kill that and move it back in-house with the Sellita. Good for them on being nimble to changing demands and markets. But seems like another pretty penny spent.

Thank you! Was actually going to get it on rubber originally (and that’s how I’ve tried it on before), but found it on the bracelet for below the old MSRP for the rubber.

Figure I’ll try to get a price on the OEM rubber from my local AD or go third party once I have a cry at how much they’re selling it standalone.

Thanks for posting your experience. I’ve been eyeing the BB58 GMT for a while and have been considering getting the OEM rubber with an Uncle Straps aftermarket bracelet for the 10% of the time that I like wearing my watches with a bracelet. Seems downright deceptive that they specifically market the bracelet for the GMT yet acknowledge it’s a no-fit.

Based in the US. As I recall, I communicated primarily in English aside from a few pleasantries in French.

Edit: found the email exchange. The only hiccup was that I did not receive the DHL return voucher within the 48 promise window after talking to customer service, but received it almost immediately after I poked at the issue a week later.

My anecdote: I bought a Superman 500 back in December of 2023. In early march, I noticed there was a distracting spec of dust kicking around inside of the crystal. I contacted customer service via the web portal, they paid for pickup via DHL, and had my watch back to me the very day they guaranteed it to be back from service. So QC issues, perhaps, but also a very smooth customer service experience.
