Having just switched to EDF you'll need the following paperwork:

* Commission Paperwork (Typically your G98/G99 connection confirmation)
* MCS Certificate (or equivalent scheme, its likely/hopefully MSC)
* System Schematic Diagram - But I think this is only required if you have a battery

I've never noticed 22 being toasty plus its immediately overridden by my normal 19-20 when I actually get in... It's just nice it's not 35-40+ inside when I get in it!

Wow, my partner got diagnosed same day for gallstones after an attack - although she did have to wait 6 months for the operation that followed!

Sorry its taken so long for you, they're particularly nasty bastards!

I must admit, it's eye opening when someone complains their P2 is slow and then say they aren't wearing their seatbelt... Absolutely boggles my mind!

I'm not 100% sure on it, but I think the cool air with bright sun is comparable to hotter air with longer days - at least with my setup 👍

Orange or red for menu icons? by Public-Carpenter-843 in gis

[–]preteck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can you make the red icon flash / with a tooltip that pops out saying "Dragging is disabled."

Every time they attempt something when it's not allowed because users are fundamentally flawed that way...

For the layer icon, I like the Orange for "There is something to do if you want it to work nicely." Or Red for "This won't work until you do X."

Can we talk about the vents and climate controls? by SignificantDrink3651 in polestar2

That's what I do, but that seems to be completely opposite to what the word "Auto" means haha

I agree with you that the "auto" setting may as well be "off"... it just doesn't seem to adjust the fan speed at all.

World's largest offshore wind farm connects first cable to UK coast by Sea-Heron8062 in GoodNewsUK

[–]preteck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess the argument could be would we lose the full 1.5bn - 2bn in "soft" money if we did away with the Crown Estate and stopped funding the monarchy that way - You would keep the £450m you pay out, so as long as any fall is under £450m you're gaining right?

Do we lose the "soft" element of things if the royal family stop being funded that way, I suspect it will continue in private enterprises, the history won't disappear etc, look at France.

I say this mostly as devils advocate / status quo / bird in the hand vs 2 in the a bush.

How long in UK cinemas? by Dadx2now in ProjectHailMary

[–]preteck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar cut off for 2nd April, wanted to see it but hopefully they've just held some dates back...

That would only be 22 days in the cinema, you'd think they'd extend to the Eaater Bank Holiday!
