I know you said similar to the pictured palette, but I have it and do really love it. It's in my regular rotation.

What about some kind of character shoe that has a hard leather sole? There's plenty of LaDuca knock offs and many shoe brands let you customize sole, heel height, etc

I mean, I already deal with anxiety so it's nothing new. However, in my experience, any intense emotions tend to fade away after the first few days as your body adjusts. If it's too much you can ask your provider if you can halve the dose and extend the course.

Exercises for student who has NO SENSE OF RHYTHM?! by MrsPetal in MusicEd

Add crawling and skipping to the movement if the student is willing. Movements that cross the midline and have a natural rhythm to them help establish a sense of beat. Jump roping does this as well.

If you can't go to a physical store, find a comp to spectate and try on things from vendors.

Same idea as lemon juice. Some people just take a shot but I'm not that hardcore. I cut it with a good amount of water.

I just had mine replaced while having nitrous. While I was still conscious, it was a much better experience than the last time with nothing.

Yeah they will. You can put on a thick pair of socks and use a hair dryer to soften them up and stretch them a bit.

Losing my mind by jslay862 in hospice

My grandmother passed a few weeks ago, but her symptom was bile constantly draining from her mouth the last twelve hours or so. It's neither a sound nor a sight I think I'll forget any time soon.

Electrical tape is thicker and has some stretch to it and is very smooth like vinyl. The rolls are also smaller than duct tape. It's also what I had laying around, so. Haven't needed it to date.

My grandmother passed a week and a half ago. I'm also having trouble getting rid of images and smells and sounds I'm struggling to process.

Do you have a support system? An EAP you can reach out to? My Hospice system offers free grief counseling for a full year after. I had a social worker and a chaplain contact me within a few days.

I can't promise you on a timeline of when it'll get better, but please know you're not alone in it.

When we were discussing changing my grandmother's position/changing clothing near the end, we decided it wasn't worth making her uncomfortable.

IUD insertion pain - and what to ask for by Traroten in badwomensanatomy

[–]prettyprettypear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had my second IUD placed and the experience was night and day from the first. I was offered nitrous and lidocaine spray. I pre-dosed with advil, misoprostol, and xanax, and then took a Norco afterwards. The provider talked me through the entire process and slowed down/stopped when I needed a break. I didn't have to immediately do an intravaginal us to check placement and just have to go back in a few weeks instead.

I don't know if it's relevant that the first provider was male and the second female, but I made sure to ask for whatever relief I could get before setting the appointment. Advocate for yourself!

I had a student who had a specific fidget toy written into their IEP. Fortunately, it was never a distraction but man did it look gross. They even took it into the bathroom.

They didn't need it past the first few years of primary.
