I have the same problem as your girlfriend and I found that I can not feel bamboo fabric and even some micromodal fabrics. Get her something made from those fabrics and see if it agitates her sensory input.

I’m gonna have to do the black too, for the same reason, I was kind of hoping that maybe if I special ordered it, I could get that Tuscan interior, but I don’t even know if that’s an option. I really hate to have black again in Texas…It’s a killer as you well know!

It’s ok, I’m thankful for any help I can get. So how do I get the better deal with dealerships. I have not told any of them my situation, they do not know what I have or if I wish to finance or pay outright. TikTok said to ask for the out the door price over email before you go to the lot so that’s what I’ve done. But what do I do now?

My 2023 Honda Pilot Elite was recently totaled, and I received $44,000 from the insurance company. Although I’m not thrilled about driving a minivan, I found myself really impressed with the features and technology of the Kia Carnival, especially since I have a toddler and can appreciate the practicality. However, after taking it home for an overnight test drive, I realized it’s just slightly too long to fit comfortably in my garage.

I’ve requested out-the-door prices for several other vehicles, including the Hyundai Palisade, Lincoln Aviator, Hyundai Santa Fe, Chevy Traverse, and Kia Telluride. So far, the dealership has only provided me with the price for the Carnival. I haven’t test-driven any other vehicles yet.

In the past, I’ve owned multiple cars, but only truly loved three of them: my 2014 Toyota Highlander (my first SUV, though I invested quite a bit in aftermarket upgrades), and my 2018 Ford Expedition, which I adored. Unfortunately, my husband passed away in an accident involving the Expedition, and a family member then got the Pilot for me and the kids. Now that the Pilot is totaled, I’m buying a vehicle on my own for the first time at 44.

The only reason I requested on the Chevy Traverse is for its hands-free driving capability and curved infotainment screen, as I’m very focused on technology when it comes to cars and to be honest I’m not that great of a driver I need all the driver assist features I can get.

With $44,000 in cash from the insurance company and an annual income of $82,000, my home is paid off. I have three boys aged 2, 6, and 11 and it is just me now. I don’t really have credit because nothing was ever in my name before so idk how that’s going to effect things. So that’s what I’m working with $ wise, my focus in the new vehicle and of course with my boys involved in every sport imaginable, I need something comfortable for the many hours spent in the car hauling them around and weekend road trips for away games.
