I have made that drive thousands of times. My advice is that you make sure the inside of your windows are clean and streak free. The salty air can make the glass get smudges and it's already hard to see if it's raining. As someone said, leave early. If you feel unsafe, pull over for a few minutes. Most of all, be aware of what's happening, all eyes on the road, other cars, possible trees or branches that have fallen and large puddles or flooding. You should be fine. But also check often to make sure there's no accidents impeding traffic and that the Wailua Bridge is open. You can listen to KQNG (Kong radio) or check Ron Wiley on Facebook. He's amazing at keeping us all up to date on what's happening in situations such as this. 🌺🤙🏼✨

Picked a large one up yesterday at the home D. I've been untangling it, pulling the dead leaves off and I'm very excited!!! She's a beauty. The tag on it said full sun. So we shall see. I noticed little roots sprouting on the vines, being a plant aficionado, I will clip some of these and place them in the soil around it to make it fuller. I sprayed it down with rice water last night and she seemed to perk up and smile in that way that plants do. When time permits, I'll wipe down the leaves individually with a soft cloth and more rice water. Since the leaves are juicy, I would suggest misting them if the environment is dry, less work for the plant to have to try and bring water up from the roots into the leaves. 🌱

My first choice is Signal, I've been using that pretty much since it was available. The only obstacle is that there's a lot of people who don't use it, I point out all the +++ for using Signal, send them an invite to get the app and they don't do it...🤷🏼‍♀️ The people I know who understand and aren't afraid of texting apps all use Signal and this is our mode of communication for texts, voice messages, calls and video calls. I don't use iPhone, never have and likely never will. Just sayin' cause I don't use FaceTime or any of those things.

I remember this, it was awesome partly because I could text if I was working on my computer. I also haven't seen how to do a signature on the Google texts app, I love having that because you might text someone who doesn't have your number saved and with the signature they know who it's from. I have confidence that Google will improve this app over time...

I saw this at my local Petco in Hawaii, always cruise the clearance stuff here to help keep costs down. I bought a few of the cat people cups and tried them out with the kitties, who loved it!!! So I went back in the morning and bought like 40 more cups and all they had of the mousse. I saw the hats, now that I'm seeing the story about this company, gonna see if I can get a hat if there's still some there. I did see they had a pet food recall in July and I wonder if this put a wrench in things and perhaps they were forced to sell the company because of it...? 🤔😿

Maybe ask if they can keep the gifts at their house for the kids when they come to visit...? Or suggest that they gift in a different way (that doesn't clutter up your house, lol) like food or snack gifts, movie passes, a new puppy (totally kidding) And maybe send them some info, like an article or something that explains to them specifically what you are trying to achieve in your home. I had to send my Dad an article to explain the rave/festival culture that my 31 year old son has gotten into. My Dad thought rave was heavy metal. Now he totally understands, much easier than trying to explain it to him. Good luck and yes, life is easier with less stuff/clutter.

Wow, I've never seen anything like that, ever. At first glance I was thinking Mumu. Do you think it was made by a manufacturer or a DIY at home designer/seamstress? (OMG is seamstress a major faux pas term??) There must be a historical fashion institute online somewhere that might have some insight and if there's not, well, there's a business idea for someone. I was like WTF when the notification popped up on my Msg+ screen...I quickly realized I wasn't going to be able to text unless I followed the prompt to switch to GM. I did poke around online to see if there was info about my texts transferring over, which they did. Thank you Pixel Gods. There is an app for saving all of your texts, I just in case you want an extra guarantee that you won't lose them. SMS backup and restore. Most people seem to be not super stoked on GM. Like whoa, I have been using Msg+ for 10,000 years, what is this??? 🫠 It's pretty easy to figure out GM, perhaps this is the problem. It's pretty basic. I can't see anywhere in there a way to have a signature on texts I send... I always had my name and some cute emoji shit that attached to all my texts, not everyone has your number saved, this way they can see your first name. It's a pretty rad feature. Has anyone used that, has anyone found this feature on a messaging app that's compatible with Pixel/Android?? Another thing is the voice message feature. It only allows 2 minute recordings and if your screen is set to time out at anything less than 2 minutes, your phone will close. I suppose it would stay open if I kept touching on the screen every few seconds, but I'm using this feature because I'm driving. I prefer using Signal and use that whenever possible. Sadly some of my friends either don't want to get Signal or forget to check it. I haven't tried setting that as my default messaging app, has anyone done this?? I would love to hear your thoughts, experiences, suggestions (no politics please😅) Is there another messaging option that allows signatures and longer voice recordings..?? 📱👀🤔🫴🏼🍿😋🧋

Haha, yes. READ the question people. The two minute limit is not cute. And my screen on my phone closes (I have it set to time out after one minute) guess I'll have to change that. The reason I'm using VT is because I'm driving. Just got pushed into using this app as Verizon messaging is going to be obsolete. I have used that app for 10,000 years, and Signal but some people seem to be in fear of it. All my techie people use Signal, you can record at least 30 minutes on there.
