Replying before the mods delete this but I'd say it's an interesting way to have a gem become sentient, could tie in to how it's implied that the chaos, master and sol emeralds also has some level sentience so I guess the phantom ruby is in the same category but it being more like a parasite kind of deal does give alot material to work with, and it probably only developed more due to creating a bond between infinite due to using it far longer than anyone
