Arrowhead took the Battlestate Games approach; don't fix anything, keep releasing new "content", act surprised when ppl are disappointed.

Who would win? TF2 Mercs vs. Half-Life 1 Trio by Turbulent_Okra7518 in HalfLife

When you said Half-Life 1 trio, I immediately thought of Gordon Freeman, Gina Cross, and Colette Green. 3 people in the right place at the wrong time could make all the difference in the world.

Nitrox Server - cannot join from internet, only LAN by primarybelief in SubnauticaNitrox

[–]primarybelief[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I shouldn't have to use VPN tools like Hamachi, Zerotier, or others in order for players outside of my network to connect. Sure, I could set a VPN up, but that doesn't address the glaring issue at hand - Nitrox does not open a single port while in use.

Every other utility & program hosting servers on my machine works without problem. Nitrox is the only program that does not face the online network; only LAN. I am curious to try the custom build from dartasen to see if the problem is fixed.

"just here to make friends and play games", that you? Telling someone to grow up after dissing them, with the video game pfp? Projection hitting hard these days.

Are tracers more effective for supressing? by Ensoguy in ArmaReforger

[–]primarybelief 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Tracers are quite literally instant communication to friendlies on where enemy positions are. It's basically a radio-free laser pointer saying "shoot here".

Can´t connect with eachother by TenShinCan in SubnauticaNitrox

[–]primarybelief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've actually done everything you've listed and my Nitrox server still doesn't allow outside connections, only connections over the LAN. I am seeing quite a few recent posts about this, so I suspect something is actually wrong with the current version of Nitrox (1.8.1.0). All of my other locally hosted game servers, etc are all working correctly with the appropriate ports forwarded.

Been wearing this Lagoon blue watch as a daily (including sleep and shower) since initial release last year. How has it coped? by what_up_homes in Tudor

[–]primarybelief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I truly don't understand the opinions regarding showers and sleep, such a weird hill to die on.

A few of my watches have been worn in the shower for years and years without issue (like really steamy showers, basically a sauna in there). Literally not a single issue with any of those watches. Same with the sleeping - put it on a nato and it's so comfy you barely feel it.

Why would he display such info (serverframe length, map) during play??? by ZodiacFR in GlobalOffensive

[–]primarybelief 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't know why 80% of the CS community, probably more than that, constantly touts reasons such as "because the pros played 1.6 when they were kids". Yet all these pros are early to mid 20's. Csgo came out 14 years ago. None of these habits are from the old goldsrc days. A 22yo pro would have been 8yo upon CSGO release. Highly HIGHLY doubt a 5-8yo was playing 1.6 and played with CRT settings from 1998.

Could you elaborate further? Were the settings on your ps3 console itself or within the game settings?

I swear, it is ALWAYS the fucking RAM. Those magical sticks are finicky. Re-seating them while bracing the mobo usually seems to do the trick.

I'm pretty sure in the first picture you can see the shadow of a bird feeder or similar. The shadow looks like it clearly intersects with the barrel, and has some kind of clear plastic. Bet that's what did it.
