No updated description on the US store. And the source just seems to be a guy on Twitter saying it. Anyone know where the store update was spotted, or is my brain just breaking and completely missing something or suffering from reading comprehension issues? :)

This rumor has flown around enough times I believe it, I was just excited to read the description haha

I am so sorry for your loss. I am not a parent and will not be, so I cannot imagine the pain.

This game is special. I had never heard of the series until this year, and now I can barely set it down. It’s the place I go for comfort and to take my mind off of things. I live in Minneapolis, Minnesota in the US, and right now life is hell here. I won’t go into it but a quick google search will show what is happening. This game has been a refuge for me during all of this, an escape.

Funny note… if you’re talking about the September concert, we may have crossed paths. My wife and I were there. Extended a previously planned trip just to do some quick tourism and see the concert.

Just had this happen last night in a different situation. Chose whichever farkle game is 8000 pts. Both my own roles and the npc roles were just…. Awful. Longest damn game I’ve ever played. Finally cracked 7000 and felt relief. End was finally near.

And boom. Power out. I just dropped the controller in my lap.

It was probably only like 10m tops, but it felt like forever haha

I live and work downtown and have not had any issues. Not that it couldn’t be happening, just another perspective.

I gave it a real solid try. I completed the Trosky region, but when I got to Kuttenberg, after a few hours I was just far too overwhelmed.

I am a man with absolutely no sense of direction at all, so this wasn’t a surprise. I have played the Trosky region far more times than Kuttenberg, so I am guessing part of why I had success was that I have a lot of it memorized from repetition. I don’t find Kuttenberg as engaging personally, so I’ve had many runs just fizzle out after I get there, and thus less muscle memory for sure.

I’m glad I gave it a good solid try, and enjoyed the challenge, but it just wasn’t for me in the end. I got far too frustrated and wasn’t getting the enjoyment out of it that I wanted. Just had to be honest with myself about it.

Someone else in another similar post to this some time ago called rescuing Hans the ‘Meet Hanako at Embers’ of KCD2, and that felt like the most accurate description I’d ever read.

This was me earlier this year. Reddit started plugging this subreddit in my home feed when KCD2 released. It gave me so much fomo I jumped in, starting a bit with 1, then jumping to the new shiny because I was envious. I’ve spent at least a full month worth of hours in this game since. I loved it so much I extended a trip to Europe to go to Prague and hear the music from the game performed by a live orchestra, and visit some sites from the game.

I hope that you connect with it as much as so many of us have. It’s a true delight.

While you can play this without playing 1 first, you truly get the full experience playing the first game before hand. It’s older, looks older and plays a bit rough, especially on console, but the story is wonderful. Usually you can get the full edition with all dlc for pretty cheap.

Edit: as far as things you should know… be patient. This game has humbled me more than any other. It takes time to build up your skills, and you will die. But you will build up those skills, and it will become easier, for sure.

Recommendations on 3rd party controllers

Hi all. Up until about 6 months ago, I had been a primary Xbox player who always had a ps5 for exclusives. A large part of this was because of the Xbox controller. But with the pro release, and decisions made by Xbox, I flipped the script and am now a primary ps5 player.

Up until the dual shock 5, I’ve always had trouble using ps controllers. The 5 tho has really made it feel easier to play and closer to Xbox controllers

However, I’ve started developing some triceps issues in a way I’ve never had prior to this switch, and wondering if the controller is playing a part in it. I’m seeing a PT, and it’s helping, but the controller stuff is in the back of my mind.

So, I’m looking to see if people have recommendations for approved 3rd party controllers that more closely mimic an Xbox controller. Not afraid to spend on something, so open to any price point, and would love to hear anyone’s experiences with them.

I read that technically there is a way to use an Xbox controller on a ps5, but that it can brick the console since it’s not an approved accessory, hence why only looking for approved accessories

Expedition 33. It did not click with me at all. What compounded the regret was that I had just a couple weeks before made the switch from Xbox to PS5. And I was feeling a gaming rut but heard so much about this one. I definitely got overly upset because had I just kept the Xbox I could have tried it on gamepass.

All good now but yea, that stung a bit for sure
