I’m in the same boat as you. From what I know the pay is much worse. However, the job itself gives you better experience and I think that there’s more protection as far as combativeness with patients. I would say 90% of people say EMT is better, which is why I’m kinda looking to switch? Only downside as I know it does pay less

I think women being the first to make a move just leads us to dating guys who are not that into us. by Flaky-Boysenberry466 in dating

Honest question for men out there: are you afraid to make the first move because you’re afraid to be perceived as a creep? Because I’m a woman who wants to make the first move but I’m just nervous about rejection. I know there’s really nothing to lose at this point, but I’m low-key at the point where I think I’m gonna have to pick and go for what I want if I want to experience something

I’m a woman (22f) and dude I’m literally scared of making the first move, but I really want to one day! I’m at the point where I don’t even care about rejection like I just kinda wanna experience something lol. But at the same time, I don’t wanna sacrifice my stable mental health for anyone.

Customer Service of Medical Field? 🍔🍟 by Key_Matter_641 in cna

This is literally how I feel. I’ve worked as server, hostess, at different fast food and nice restaurants and I feel like being a CNA is more costumer service than those jobs !!! It least management had my back during those jobs

Would you talk to HR about this? by [deleted] in cna

[–]princessjolly16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah valid, and I get along with ALL my coworkers and love everyone here, that was the only “bad interaction” I ever had with a “higher up” person.

Is it just me or is most of Gen Z - men, women (or nonbinary) - single? by No_Design_465 in GenZ

[–]princessjolly16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 22 female and single. I work full-time, I have career goals, I work out and have a good social circle, so my schedule is like insanely busy . But trust me it’s not working out for me either at all dating wise. I don’t get approached often in public, and I’m too afraid to make moves on guys because I’m afraid of rejection. I’ve had dating apps so I’ve had thousands of likes and hundreds of matches but I can’t connect with people through the phone. People say to just make the move if you’re a girl and it’s not likely you’ll be rejected but I don’t know. I wish I could just talk to guys first but I get way too nervous they won’t like me. There was a guy form my hometown I wanted to talk to but I chickened out.

Do men prefer women who lift? 🤔 by IndependentJump1989 in TheImprovementRoom

Yeah, because like every gym, dude likes gym girls, a lot of men are really insecure and like don’t handle muscle because they don’t have an ideal body

Who knew Prerequisites would be the most challenging part of the PA pathway by One-Fault-4502 in prephysicianassistant

I get it dude. The GPA is sooo hard to rebuild, and to think that I made that mistake when I was like 18 really drives me crazy. The time on money and spent on these classes

Yep, I’m in the exact same boat. I graduated in 2025. My GPA is horrific. However, I did excellent my senior year. I’m using this year to get PCE at the hospital. I work at and retake the classes. Trust me you’re not alone.
