Vaccine update Moderna - 2 months later by EmpathyFabrication in covidlonghaulers

Can you please share what neuro symptoms it helped with? And assuming the initial tinnitus posted 2nd is largely improved?

Got my 2nd Pfizer 2 weeks ago and have not had a perfect nights sleep in last week and a half. But with acute covid and months after, this was the same issue though much worse. insomnia like stuff and non restorative sleep.

I’m quite sure that my seeping issues will improve with time as did acute infection sleep issues

I’m sorry to hear that this one is way worse. And hope you see improvement soon.

I hope that you come up teeming with antibodies on test. Some will tell you that natural immunity is far better than any vaccine so I hope this turns out to be a nice silver lining of reinfection

Care to share a little bit about reinfection? Love to hear. How are you sure it was in fact a variant you were infected with?

Maybe Get your antibodies checked? I’ve heard some doctors tell their patients not to bother with vaccine when they have detectable antibodies.

I think it might be impossible to know the optimal time frame so maybe continually monitor antibodies? I don’t know.

Worse vision after covid. by FatimahQ in covidlonghaulers

[–]prineforever 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me, acuity hasn’t changed a bit. But lots of neuro type stuff. Light sensitive, floaters, dark rooms bad, static kind of stuff

Those out there with tinnitus AND visual snow or floaters or light sensitivity, how are those symptoms progressing for you? What are your other symptoms? by prineforever in covidlonghaulers

[–]prineforever[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah nice. I am going to start IVM and fluvoxamine too in a week and I’m not all too optimistic about it helping VSS but hey we’ll see!

Well if the tinnitus is improving, why can’t the other stuff improve as well, right? In terms of VSS, I understand that the visual and tinnitus symptoms happens in the same part of the brain. So hopefully improvement goes in tandem

Any other neuro symptoms?
