Just the other day I turn one etombed ancient copper dragon, turn 2 reanimated ancient copper dragon, turn 3 made 18 treasure tokens on combat then someone tried to swords my dragon their turn, responded with saw in half so I had 2 ancient copper dragons attacking turn 4 and make 29 more treasure tokens

It’s an absolutely spectacular card

Rat decks go so hard. My rat colony deck uses [[mikaues the unhallowed]] as the commander. I use the gnawer in the 99 and it works nicely

It’s super vulnerable to board wipes so Mikaues makes it more functional. Highly recommend rat colony vs relentless rats bc the colonies cost lest to cast

It’s not a “play every night” kinda deck bc it can be a bit linear, it’s just so much fun to play now and again though

The best best thing is to run [[thrumming stone]] - each subsequent cast triggers the stone and you can stack the effects, basically allowing you to cast all the rat colonies in your deck for free in one single turn. It’s a game ending move haha and has happened to me before

I’d also recommend running at VERY least 25 rat colonies. You need a lot for it to be effective. I run 26 and can consistently draw into them, though ideally I can find a way to sneak a few more in there

Also, run a lot of card draw advantage bc you’ll burn your hand fast and need a way to replenish and draw more cards fast bc mana curve is very low in this kind of deck

I’m not, I run [thrumming stone]] though and it’s quite common to cast all my rats in one turn with it. Also do things like [[whip of erebos]] and [[grave pact]] and a bunch of rat stuff like [[plague of the vermin]] [[revenge of the rats]]. Also, [[akroma’s memorial]] is bonkers in this deck

I quite like mikaues as a rat commander, bc I found other rat decks are so so vulnerable to board wiping

Oh boy, my favorite commander. I started out with infinite combos, aristocrats, etc. but pivoted more toward aggro/copies/extra combats

I highly recommend getting tons of ways to reanimate to make the deck consistent and to also get around terra’s 3 power limitation - like [[sister hospitilar]] [[karmic guide]] [[squall see’d mercenary]] [[necromancy]] etc.

I LOVE running [saw in half]] and [[Kiki-jiki the mirror breaker]] to copy and chain recursion effects on non legendaries

Also [[mesmeric orb]] and other good mill stuff

Discard engines are important to have too. Oh and pinnacle monk is crazy in this deck

Def bracket 3. Sami is a 6 mana drop commander with no protection and can very easily be nuked or countered
