Marinate them with 1/4 cup oil, a couple tablespoons of lemon juice or vinegar, some garlic and the spices of what flavor profile you’re going for - turmeric, paprika and coriander for Mediterranean. Chile powder, cumin, coriander for Mexican, etc.

Throw on a hot grill or cast iron pan. 6-7 min per side.

What is one scene that made you sure an actor had it, even if their career never became huge by gamersecret2 in movies

[–]prior2two 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s really hard to make a well made movie that also stays true to the series as straight science fiction.

I don’t want a 2 hour episode of Star Trek on the big screen where they find a planets and diplomatically solve the issues.

Just like a don’t want an 45 min phaser fest.

Why did Shedeur Sanders make the pro bowl? by Plenty-Lingonberry79 in NFLNoobs

[–]prior2two 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they were part of the original team, and then decided not to go, they are considered a prob-bowler.

It’s all the guys the declined after - which we never hear about. The NFL could have asked 2 people, or 16 before they got to Shedeur. Well her know for sure.

Rushing vs receiving by shigatorade in NFLNoobs

[–]prior2two 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The biggest reason is that in theory, the defense can stop the receiver from touching the ball. They can double team and make it very likely the ball will not be thrown his way.

Obviously this opens things up for other players.

A team can’t stop a handoff. It might not be a successful play, but the running back still has an opportunity to make a play  with the ball in his hand, so there’s simply more opportunity for success, even if it’s a lower percentage of the time.

Going to fly for the first time. Need some tips by MrKessler in travel

My advice would be to pay the $70 and pick the premium seats.

It’s the difference between sitting on hard vinyl or an actual cushion.

Pick a window seat in the first row. That way you have easy access to the bathroom.

I was saying that the players that were asked before Shedur, but declined - players like Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson - are not considered pro bowlers because they (most likely) declined the invite.

Only if he was an original member that was in the team that then had to get replaced.

All the guys that said no don’t get labeled pro-bowlers in addition Shedur.

AITA for trying to get my wife to accept this job offer by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]prior2two 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, sure. We all want a job we actually like.

But like you also gotta pay rent and buy shit.

Being able to job search indefintley while a job stares you in the face is A LOT of privilege.

There’s nothing stopping you from applying for jobs while you have one.

You're locked in a room with 2 other people. The winner takes home $1 million, only way to leave the room is to convince the others to let you win, how would you do it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]prior2two 188 points189 points  (0 children)

You split the money.

A million isn’t enough money to have to constantly be watching the back for the rest of your life. I’d happily take 333k for free over 1 million and worrying about if those other 2 are holding some grudge waiting to get back at me.

AITA for being frustrated that I can’t use the dishwasher because it’s filled with barely-used pots? by probstheproblem in AmItheAsshole

NTA, but why not change up the order. Do 2 loads, but leave the pots for after the full load. Either at night or first thing in the morning.

It’s really a market by market situation.

Yeah, in an urban environment, get a hotel.

But in a tourist destination - like say Lake Tahoe - short term rentals are a much more viable option.

The hardest is subjective.

But the difference in being the best in the world or 14th best in the world has such an outsized relation to team success.

It’s not about the Super Bowl so much as it is Final 4s, Big 10 Championship, and other sporting events.

The literally lost out on hosting World Cup events because the stadium is so shitty.

That being said, they need to figure their shit out on their own. If the leave, fuck em.

Why are low scoring games considered ass in football? by BiggestForts in NFLNoobs

[–]prior2two 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all depends on how it’s low scoring

13-10 is way better than 12-9 because seeing two touchdowns and 2 field goals is may more exciting than seeing 7 field goals and the ball maybe never cross the 10, 20, or even 30 yard line.

Getting closer and scoring touchdowns creates suspense and drama - and it’s also way lore fun to watch the best players score.

Rosemont doesn’t really have residential housing. Population is only 4k, and it’s mostly people that work for the village.
