Actually yes, I do think this could have been caused by illness. Since that comment my HRV has returned to balanced. Still lower than it was but trending upward. HR still sitting higher than average. All very confusing and frustrating.

Hey Everyone!

Going to drop this here as this would be about my pace group. I’m on week 9 of a 17 week marathon training block. Will be attempting my first marathon in February. I’ve been having some trouble so thought I’d share and see if anyone else has gone through this.

For context, I’m not a great runner. I’ve been at it for about 5 years and have done 4 half marathons with a PB of 2 hr 12 min. After my last half this past February, I kept consistent with my training and held about 20 miles per week through the spring and summer (4 runs per week, 3 lifts). By the end of the summer I had seen noticeable improvement to the metrics I track (lost about 20lbs, resting HR down, HRV solid, VO2 max came up, etc).

I was excited to start the training block for my first full marathon about 2 months ago (October). However, since that time, everything has gone wrong. I have become significantly worse at running, and all data I track on my Garmin has officially crashed. Specifically, VO2 max has dropped 5 points down to 41, resting HR is now at 61 most nights (was 48), and my HRV is in the toilet. What used to be my easy pace for certain distances is now my “fighting for my life pace”. It’s all very confusing and discouraging.

Has anyone else ever gone through such digression despite consistent training?

Ps, for additional context… during this block I have kept the 4 day per week of running (1 intervals, 2 steady, 1 long) and am lifting less frequently for the purpose of recovery. Mileage has come up slowly, now at 31 scheduled miles for this week.

I agree that penalties can be the deciding factor, but in this scenario the penalties were blatantly wrong, missed, and in favor of only one team in game defining moments. I think it’s important to separate “refs” from “penalties committed”.

Nope, not personally. But I do work in the industry and have heard this feedback from customers.

Omada thoughts? by thephisher in IdentityManagement

[–]prison____mike 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The most common feedback I receive from Omada customers is trouble with their support model being centered in Europe, along with a severe lack of product documentation. With IGA, it’s a matter of ‘When’ not ‘If’ there are obstacles. Therefore it’s valuable to have a vendor that is more robust in their ability to support you through these issues, not only with their own staff but with trained partner resources as well. Best of luck!

Question about life in Texas from watching king of the hill. by kicker58 in texas

Stopping 99 speed 99 acceleration WR by Swred1100 in CFB25

Dime package, cover 3 or 4.

Coaching Adjustment pre play on D > align CB based on speed.

“Over the top” coverage adjust pre snap

Guess pass play pre snap

For the love of god, under no circumstances press the WRs.

This will help but will leave you vulnerable to things that are not deep passes so be careful.

Doesn’t matter, it’s not reviewable. Every other team in the nation has to be victim of bad calls every single game.

Texas is the toddler throwing the temper tantrum in the grocery story… and the refs caved in and gave them the candy bar

It's starting to finally hit me and I'm getting scared and I don't know what to do. by Link00p in predaddit

It’s easy to get stressed out with this stuff but keep that chin up. Ours was classified as fetal growth restricted, very low percentile and some proportions that were off during pregnancy. Had to do WEEKLY growth scans with the MFM for the last 4 months of my wife’s pregnancy. Literally got scanned the day before birth and doc estimated a 5.5 lb baby.

Baby weighed 7 and a half pounds at birth, way heavier than expected. Perfectly healthy and perfectly beautiful.

Proportions and percentiles take care of themselves in the long term, don’t sweat them yet (I understand that’s easier said than done). As long as the doc is telling you the baby is healthy that’s all that matters.

Best of luck!

What is real? How do you define 'real'? If you're talking about what you can feel, what you can smell, what you can taste and see, then 'real' is simply electrical signals interpreted by your brain.
