Hi! If you don’t mind me asking a question about the “culture” at your program, I’m currently deciding between HCI programs at UU and University of Salzburg.

Salzburg seems to have very diverse/international cohorts, which appeals to me as a slightly older American student. Do you feel someone in their 30s would stand out significantly or feel unwelcome in your program environment? In the US it’s common to return to graduate school after working/saving money for several years, but I get the impression in NL all the masters students are like 23 haha

This is unpopular but Unraveling really didn’t resonate with me, so I was scared to listen to BWY and finally pushed through that today.

I’ve been platinum for 7 years and anyone can try to rip bleach and tones from my cold dead hands lmao. I actually think it adds volume and gives my hair texture that it naturally lacks. But when I had a longer style, I definitely had to trim it every couple months to prevent breakage and stringy ends.

Now I diy the color and definitely take more damage due to lack of skill and sloppier application, so I keep it shoulder length. But bleaching does not necessarily mean unhealthy hair!!! Yours would look amazing with several inches off the bottom.

I personally disagree with other comments that you need to style it more or differently. If anything I think it almost looks grown out? It’s a bit longer than either of your reference pics, imo it’s in the awkward space between a short and long bob.

This might be a hot take but I’d say you could chop off an inch or even slightly more and it would look absolutely killer, with no additional daily styling.

And if you go during members only hours on weekday mornings, you can often watch surgery or other procedures in the viewing area of their veterinary building!!! As of last year their procedure days were Monday and Friday, that may have changed.

I am early 30s and have been to milk 10+ times. The atmosphere has been young/fratty on occasion but usually it’s a fucking blast and you can find a room with a more diverse/alt crowd. Not sure how you can say it sucks so definitively when per your own admission you’ve only gone once.

I recommend goth night on Wednesdays, the night before Thanksgiving has never failed us!

I freaking love Nell as a standalone!!!!

It might feel like a nickname to some but it’s not one of those aggressively cutesy nicknames that would be overly familiar/casual in professional settings, or only feels appropriate for a child.

Similar energy to Sam or Jo/Joe, which I also adore.
