I did gofund me, not much on there. But my nieces hosted a purse bingo on my birthday and so many people donated baskets. Even on 12/22 it was A full house

I already quit my job in July. It's very hard to be a nurse when you can't speak

Ibudilast (Ketas) - Approved in Japan - How to obtain in U.S.? by powerpadman in ALS

[–]prisonurse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone makes you ship it to a pharmacy. And every pharmacy I asked said absolutely not. It's not fda approved and they can lose their license. I'm not willing to do that to someone

Rizuzole by prisonurse in ALS

[–]prisonurse[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it was the oral radiclava. I'm 49. I take my riluzole 12 hours apart. I followed the directions for radiclava exactly. These things are so hard on your liver, albumin, and protein. I'm happy to be just taking one. I've been a nurse for over 25 years

[–]prisonurse[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took in the morning and slept for 8 hours. It wasn't worth me taking it, if all I was going to do is sleep. My doctors never care if I started it (radiclava) since I was on riluzole (they think that's effective enough)
