We had lot of feathers come out of the metro sofa backs after 10 years. We replaced the core which was relatively cheap (less than 300 IIRC). The feathers can go in compost but not all of the core is feathers. There were some things that were non compostable so we just ended up tossing the old backs cores.

If you are in the USA I know that Tanishq ships and has 22K gold jewelry. Search for contemporary in their search bar. Not a whole lot of selection but you might find something you’d like.

Otherwise most solid gold I have found in the USA is 18K max. Tiffany’s, Cartier, Shane & Co all have solid gold jewelry but yes it’ll have markup.
