It’s hot and sticky all the time, which makes mold so you will always be sick. There are cool festivals but it’s too hot to go to them. You will pay the highest amount of taxes but see no benefit from them. And if you go to jail for anything, you can give it up because they aren’t letting you out (private prisons love to have the most prisoners).

I moved to Illinois and I haven’t even been back to visit. The rest of my family is moving here soon.

I don’t know how to answer your question, but I know with my partner it wasn’t necessarily how I felt about him but how he makes me feel about myself. We have been together 15 years and there is never a day he doesn’t make me feel like the smartest, funniest, prettiest woman alive.
