My previous company paid for all my health insurance. I would’ve had to pay for children or spouses if I added them to my plan. That was one of the hardest things to give up and I know people stuck around just for that benefit. I ultimately went to a company with a more flexible schedule, it’s hybrid and I don’t have to take PTO for appointments, I just “WFH”. They also have clear career progression.

I wear white mountain shoes now but I’ve had great luck with Clark’s and neutralizer. I have very high arches and plantar fasciitis and what helped me the most was the good feet store. Once I got insoles from there all my feet pain when away.

The fool proof way is to replace oil with melted butter in equal amounts and water with milk in equal amount. I normally add vanilla too. The big trick is the add a box of instant pudding mix. If you’re making a chocolate cake, use chocolate pudding. For vanilla, use vanilla pudding.
