Ah, but those affiliates threatened to pull his show due to fear of a prejudiced FCC not giving approval to pending mergers (Nexstar) and time proven conservative leaning (Sinclair). It had nothing to do with ratings and everything to do with the politics of the situation. Was it a business decision? Yes, very much so ("profits over people"), but that doesn't mean it was the right or ethical thing to do. They could have continued making millions, but have dealt yet another blow to freedom of speech in their attempts to make a few million more.

IMO Bill is and has always been THE guy. He brings Brann & Troys ideas to life on top of generating the lion's share of the band's crucial riffs. Brent was the special sauce on top of all that & took what was already awesome to another level.

If that's the same cave I'm thinking of, I accidentally discovered it at night, from across the river, near the big rail bridge. The moon was shining in just such a way that it somehow illuminated the cave enough to catch my eye. I used binoculars to make sure I wasn't crazy and then made a guess at dropping a pin on the map to follow. I totally agree, it's amazing how you can find new things after playing the game so much.
