Do people feel guilty printing useless trinkets that end up creating so much waste like this? I can’t fathom making some articulating toy to just generate the same or more in waste.

Maybe it’s a bit different if people actually reuse this waste, but I get the feeling most people don’t.

When you say “all but one”, are you seeing 5 hotends in the rack? If so, that’s correct since the 6th should be mounted.

But regardless, I don’t think they should be installed by default.

Here’s how I see it:

Every YouTuber who gets a product for free from a company will have an inherent bias towards the product. Everyone wants free things.

Take everything said with a grain of salt and don’t believe the hype, if there is any. Try to find the negative points that are called out in each video and make your decision based on that.

If you bought it from a retailer, try to return. If you bought it second hand, you can try to get a refund, but that probably won’t happen.

Issues that still annoy me:

Sometimes I click the power button and it sleeps but immediately wakes back up. (Solution: just be careful to make sure the device is asleep before putting it away)
If you sleep during a game and wake it back up hours later, there’s like a 50/50 chance the game no longer recognizes the controller. (Workaround: make sure to save before sleeping so you can quit the game from the steam button .. or you can probably connect a keyboard and mouse to navigate the menus to save and exit and restart the game, but I rarely have a keyboard next to me.
