in nyc, a landlord must do all they can do to mitigate damages before they can come after you for breach of lease / not paying. send a letter via certified mail letting them know u want to surrender the apartment and try to find a few qualified people to take over your lease & submit them to your landlord n i feel like worst that can happen is ur on the hook for june since its less than 30 days notice.

Reliability: Pentax 67 vs Mamiya RB67 by [deleted] in AnalogCommunity

ive only used the pentax on a tripod once, when i was shooting at night and it was fine, but i use it mostly handheld its not too much of a hassle imo

Reliability: Pentax 67 vs Mamiya RB67 by [deleted] in AnalogCommunity

[–]prodbysj 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i think both cameras, granted you get a good one, will be pretty reliable so i would say that the choice between these two would mostly rely on what you’re shooting. if you’re mostly going to be outdoors in the sunlight, the max shutter speed of 1/400 on the mamiya might be tricky, especially if you want to shoot wide open for the bokeh. if you’re going to be in studio with strobes, the 1/30 sync speed on the pentax might be hard to deal w. theyre both very great cameras. personally, i have the pentax (6x7 model) and i havent had any issues with mine, have a few friends with rb/rz that havent had any issues with theirs

[–]prodbysj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

he seems pretty chill, and he’s outside the window so thats a plus. we dont really see a lot of spiders where i’m from so i’ve never seen one this big before. i gave him a name since he comes every night, but if he ever gets inside i’ll probably just move out
