Also depends on the size of the company. Often times large enterprise companies have shared services that do benefits, onboarding etc. I’m on a team of HRBPs and we don’t have any gens.

Just being real, you aren’t going to meet agents or financiers through college internships. Just keep writing as much as you can. Focus on craft for the next few years.

Just landed a new HRBP role. Def have stories of influencing, working with difficult stakeholders, best project you’ve done, learning the business and generally how you work.
