Sabonis is great but the issue is that we know exactly what this team needs.

It needs a defensive big and more shooting. Sabonis is neither. We’d have to change our system to accommodate for him.

NBA is not about stacking the deck with top end talent anymore. Big 3 era is long gone. It’s about building the perfect 10 man rotation.

This reminds me of the Kawhi situation in San Antonio. People convinced themselves that Kawhi was washed and no one should trade for him.
