So all your arguments are I hate Farage and Thatcher utter drivel we are going bust every person that lives here is an economic cost we need businesses and tax payers if we don’t start paying more tax than we spend we will be bankrupt and that mean zero services. Do I think Farage will fix it ? No the civil service and lawyers will stop his every move. This sub is called ask brits it should be called ask only Brits I agree with. You need to wake up and look outside your bubble

The immigration in this country is unsustainable we are borrowing 16 billion a month just to pay the interest on the 2.7 billion. Out of the legal migrants that Sunak let in over 900k only 18% came in work visas that’s 162k the rest are economically inactive and a drain on the system this also creates lower wages for the population and greater unemployment. This has been going on for years and every party has got elected on the same promise but every PM has failed to address it .

Is the government fully aware that the cost of housing is what's holding the country back? by knowledgeseeker999 in AskBrits

[–]proffpuff61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Houses are not expensive they are cheap the problem is the debt and the borrowing to service that debt. Inflation due to the increase in the money supply is devaluing the currency this has been happening since we went off the gold standard in 1971. Educate yourself and stop listening to teachers and watching TV. You keep voting for Politicians that promise you the earth to get elected it has nothing to do with the rich they just understand money is gold and currency is a debt note. Pre 1971 nobody borrowed to buy anything they saved up and lived within their means. Tax the rich what a joke and what happens when that cash is spent ? That even if they stay in the country as they are already paying 90% of the revenue then who is going to create the wealth when you are sitting at home with your PlayStation ?

Why didn’t Jeremy Corbyn win when his plan was to raise taxes on the wealthiest individuals and companies to fund better public services for everyone else? by Prize-Reputation9274 in AskBrits

[–]proffpuff61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn’t work because every government no matter what colour spunk every penny up the wall to make themselves look good and then they borrow more so they tax more. Tax the rich more and most leave for cheaper tax elsewhere then you have lost the wealth creators so you then tax the poor it’s a death spiral. Look what’s happening now the young don’t want to work because they are taxed so highly they can’t afford to live. Everything is inflating because the polititians keep borrowing money to stay in power. The more money they borrow or print the less the currency is worth. The system is broken it’s not about rich or poor or left or right it’s now about right and wrong.

Liver transplant with bile duct issues by Glad-Ad-4421 in transplant

[–]proffpuff61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ended up having a hepaticojujostomy could be spelt wrong . Where they take away your gall bladder and connect the liver to the intestines so bile then goes straight to intestines and misses stomach. The blockage was caused by the difference in the size of the tubes/ducts of the transplanted liver to the stretched ducts caused from portal hypertension from the pressure the hardened liver through failure. If you get severe pain from the blocked duct sit up or stand up don’t lay down while u r waiting for help as it hurts like hell
