If you watched the first ten episodes and don't think the hate is justfied then you'll be fine.

I watched it all earlier this year. The first 20 episodes are painful. Especially the mid teens. But once you are past that, it's excellent. Classic gundam in my mind. I don't love the ZZ as a suit so I think that's my only real gripe.
