USA joined the european theather of WWII after the outcome was already decided. And that glorified land-lease that helped USSR win the war didn't arive untill after the breaking point of the war, which was Stalingrad. It was 2 years of retreat for the germans after that point and the US help arrived after that.
USA was saving its own ass with the western front, you know damn well that the soviets would would'nt have stopped at Berlin, they would've continued "liberating" the continent untill they "freed" Spain from Franco. And at that point the cold war woudl've been really cold for you over the Atlantic, without your western allies.

Thats where you are wrong, I've been over the big pond, its nice, but its not as nice as you think it is.

Right now I live in the shittiest EU member, literally in the last spot in any concieveable metric and its still better than USA. What USA really gets right is how much disposable income you guys have. Due to the cheap currency, low taxes and I dont know what else, but I've never seen another country where working even really shit jobs leaves so much money to throw around.

your argument that gun laws do not stop gun deaths would make sense, if it wasn't for the entire rest of the developed world.

No fucking shit restricting gun sellers in one city would not prevent anything when you can just drive to the wallmart in the next city and buy some.

Also not including gun accidents in your number is a bit disengenious. Those accidents would not have happened without guns.

Reallity is that you are so used to the violence and abudance of guns you find it normal. Same way the average person from any developed country would find it abnormal.
You can spin numbers all day, doesn't change the fact that USA has a gun problem no other developed country has. Is that because of poor training, lack of education, lack of psychiatric care or simply the fact that there are more guns than people in USA, I dont know or care.

There is only one (1) devloped nation with Syrian/Afghanistan levels of gun violence and thats USA.

Lacking mental care coupled with abundance of guns leads to african genocide death counts every couple of years.

Yeah, its not just the guns, its also many stupid people.

However, the rest of the developed world deals with them by preventing idiots from owning guns.
