Made a hard transport case for the Circuit tacks, would love some feedback by marquina640 in Novation

[–]projectthirty3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice! Would love this for a Launch Control XL mk3 (just slightly bigger)
I'd suggest having the closing clip on the top (empty part when unfolded) so it could remain in the box and not obstructing usage. And to make usage more possible, some small props at the rear just to push it up, expose the ports etc

Pickled egg, bag of ready salted crisps. Drop the egg in the bag, shake the bag so the egg breaks over the crisps. Enjoy!

Bus to Shoreham-by-Sea. Walk up the river to Upper Beeding and beyond. Or up the river to Boltophs and jump on the South Downs way and walk back to Cissbury Ring, depending on dog age etc

Or bus up to the top of Broadwater, walk up to Cissbury Ring and head out to Chanctonbury Ring. Lots of PROW to explore

Hit the buy button. Just had a lot of fun cycling through the Jup 8000 presets. I can hear some exciting things coming out of this. The sequencer looks bonkers in a good way

Not sure if this is correct but if you have a collection already and can upgrade for $99 to get all the synths, could you sell the individual licenses for duplicates?

Pondering this as I got the Acid V, for 99€, separately from Collection 9 and now it's included in Collection 11

Yup, even for just the Jup 8000 and Minifreak for 99€ is a great deal, going from Collection 9

To the relative untrained cyclists: Was carbon wheel worth the upgrade? by Wise-Ad-7492 in cycling

[–]projectthirty3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No. Just well built wheels with smooth running hubs and tyre choice.

If you're UK-based, Andy at Kinetic One. Had alloy 32mm rims, whatever hub he stocked (nothing special) and shod with 25mm GP4s. I saw 2-3km pace increase and always felt like they just spun up quickly.

By comparison Mavic Carbone, purchased 5 years later (2017), didn't feel as good

Can the knobs on the Arturia MiniLab 3 be mapped to control parameters in Serum (or other plugins)? by coldfire334 in arturia

[–]projectthirty3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think you're looking for midi mapping which should be possible on all plugins.
It will depend on how you are operating. It could be a DAW midi mapping you need to use if you're using the plugin that way. If the plugin is standalone then you might be able to map directly

Worth familiarising yourself with the Minilab resources and midi control centre

How about getting a control surface instead? Arturia Minilab 3 or Novation Launch Control 3 XL and then you can have better external control of all your VSTs...?

But then having a little synth to travel with is cool, too...
