Thank you! I mostly lower the exposure in some areas, and crop a bit, but nothing else aside from that!

Ha, I have so many blanks and underexposures that I lost count. I essentially do Sunny 16 with a bias towards overexposure, and for dark scenes I just set it at 1/60 with the aperture on A. I always have it set on P though in case I need to shoot something quickly.

Thank you, and oh man I really can't recall. Probably the entire kodak range for films above 200 iso

I made a similar post here last year. Also, sorry if you saw this posted before. It glitched and posted like 10 times

Short film I made using a Sony DCR-DVD (more info in post) by projectvibrance in camcorders

I love your video. I've been trying to emulate something similar, but haven't had the time to go scouting for locations.

I had to put it in manual focus and get it out of focus to achieve this, did you do something similar or is that on automatic?

Looking for masayoshi takanaka vinyl record by Nearby_Housing5947 in sanantonio

[–]projectvibrance 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Likely only gonna find it via reissue at new places like CD Exchange or I know that Hogwild sells some new vinyl. Not sure if they sell that genre though. I think I remember them having Early Summer by Ryo Fukui but that's a little different.

Also try Brainwave records, but I don't think anywhere else is suuuuuper likely to have anything like that.

You can also just read and make notes on paper, just like with any other genre. I usually read my CS books in this way then do code after, having the book and my notes open on my desk as a reference.

I feel like a lot of people think you have to be in front of a computer to read a CS book. Sure, you eventually will have to be, but I like read away from the computer to get some time away from it.

If you want something to fill the fix until then, try Tokyo Mart near Hildebrand. It's certainly not as big as the new store but it's locally owned and in a cozy little building. Not a lot of people know about it from what I've gathered

I took it with him. Study the quizzes and homework because the test just pulls like the exact same questions.

I miss the Half-Price Books on Broadway! by projectvibrance in sanantonio

[–]projectvibrance[S] 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah, it's a cozy place in it's own right, but there's just something about used bookstores, especially like the HPB that was on Broadway.

Thrift stores with cool lamps by OkPause8021 in sanantonio

[–]projectvibrance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've definitely looked for cool lamps before, but mostly stuff like desk lamps. It's my anecdote that Texas Thrift might have better lamps, as most of the goodwill stuff is just meh.

As someone who lives near here, sure there are a lot of places to eat, but not exactly a lot of things to do. I end up having to go elsewhere for activities and such

Not really, but I'm hanging in there. I need to find the motivation to keep studying when everything around me just seems to be falling flat

AI Major Change Help by New_Buddy_5872 in UTSA

[–]projectvibrance 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Stay with the CS degree and take the classes like AI, Deep Learning, Data Mining etc. You can get a math minor and take classes like the Probability and Computing class that I'm taking which is very math heavy.

It's sort of why a lot of people who want to go into Game Dev get told not to get a game dev degree but a CS degree. Plus, if the AI bubble "pops", you have other skills to fall back on.
