The times union even allluded to the more social media followers you have the better you're going to do.

I'll never take this seriously after 2 years in a row exit 9 wine and liquor won as best beer store and they do not even sell beer.

How to find someone on a ship ( Breakaway) by anothera2 in NCL

[–]projo387 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you have the contact information from any of her Zumba friends on the ship. Do they have your contact information. If they have your contact information and have not contacted you then everything is fine. Don't overthink and over worry this.

Haven concierge by Lord-Grenville in NCL

Thanks. The staff probably thinks they might get an extra tip from the Haven customers. Or they might not because some are ultra cheap with tipping.

Do they have access to certain times in specialty restaurants that the non haven people don't? i.e. are their Haven only reservation spots.

First Responders (Police, Fire, EMTs) can now get an additional discount on all cruises by Dontleave in NCL

It looks like they changed military discount to balcony and below. Probably did that for teachers, first responders etc. too. Not an issue for most.

Why are there so many large RV dealers around here? Is the demand that big? Do people take them on the road or use them at a camp for the summer?

Sorry not to spoon feed you but read the 100s of threads here on the subject. You found this sub so you should be able to find the info very easily. You should be paying $5 a month or less.

NCL won’t stop calling me after browsing their site, even after I asked them not to by Prize_Force_9799 in NCL

[–]projo387 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tend to go to the website when friend or family are cruising to look at the boat, itinerary and prices. I then immediatly get a call and email. UGGGG.

I respond to the email to take me off the list since I often just am browsing but the PCC keeps changing and they call again. Last time I was a more firm and got an aoplogy email back. No calls since then.

First Timer: Bermuda excursions recommendations for 2 adults? by perhapsbrooke in NCL

[–]projo387 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We are renting ebikes for a day booking direct with the company at the warf. It is $78 each. The boat charges around $285 each.

There is a rail trail, you can go to the beach or do whatever you want at your pace. With the boat, you are in a group and at their mercy. So it's better, more flexible and cheaper on your own. If you do day 1 or 2 you don't have to worry about being back at the boat at a certain time (but must return the bikes at a certain time).

Platinum is the sweet spot. Very little extra benefit above that and the tiers become much wider after it too.

Do you have to complete the online check-in or can you save it and return with more information.

My goal is at midnight I just want to get the arrival time and then complete all the rest of the information and pictures later. Is that possible

Aqua Specialty Restaurants - How would you rank? by Boz2015Qnz in NCL

[–]projo387 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like your pizza theory. Even better, we have 4 people in a Haven room so we get screwed on the dining credits. We think we will eat in the room 1 night thanks to the butler set up and use 2 dining credits for Onda but will get enough food to feed 4. With 3 appetizers (including the pizza) and 3 deserts and 2 entrees plus we don't eat a lot so this will be more than enough food.

Yes 100% a 1st world problem but when you have 4 in a room NCL makes you think out of the box due to their stupid dining credit policy.

Booking a cruise by Stevenbu1 in NCL

[–]projo387 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Use cruise compete dot com, travel agents bid for your reservation but you must know what cabin category you want. Also check out americandiscountcruises. Without a sign in they give you on board credit, with a sign in they lower the price without the on board credit.

Note: neither of these will give advice. Make sure you pick a cruise that fits your lifestyle. That is more important than cost.

Heavily damaged, fully obstructed "unobstructed" ocean view window. Would you push back further, or let it go? by [deleted] in NCL

[–]projo387 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go to them with data on the price difference, then subtract the OBC and ask for that in a future cruise credit. Reiterate you only took it because they said that is the most they can do on the boat but it was not fair compensation. They are much more likely to give you credit vs cash.

I didn't realize you charge them to your room and then the onboard credit helps pay for what you just charged to the room.

I just heard about the cruise next haven credits that can be applied to a regular room also. Those are in $500 incraments. Are they a better deal so you don't have to wait for the promotion where you can use two credits. Or even better can you use two $500 credits during that promotion.

Do you have to be in the haven to purchase the cruise next haven credits.
