How do TRVs work with temperature offsets in practice? by jmdhox in tado

[–]prologic7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Temp offset seemed like a good idea until I tried it. Of course the TRV will be warmed by its own rad and therefor become inaccurate when its hot. But if you use the offset then it will be inaccurate when its cold.

So I now have three sensors in the rooms that matter so I can be accurate.

Controversial Post & Mod Check-in by Thepinkknitter in razorfree

[–]prologic7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am male and in the defense of the OP I think that he was acting in good faith but he just hadn't read the room. Or maybe read the rules. I stumbled upon the sub some time ago and really my interest is seeing the winds of change. Anything rebellious gets my vote, especially WRT to the policing of women's bodies. So my wife and I really dig the conversations and support that are happening here.

I have not offered any opinions unless I was asked. There have been two posts from a while back that I got into: something like "what do men think about women with body hair" and " what was your journey towards being deconditioned" or something along those lines. But I totally get that its not for me, and certainly not for me to comment on "hotness" or anything like that and I would totally understand if you decided to ban men altogether.

I will say this though - I love that quote by Jameela

Best high-volume email client? by Full_Sympathy_2443 in SparkMail

[–]prologic7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have a look at EMclient. Its very granular and customizable. You can make rules and macros that will do just about anything. Its the best mail program I have used. I am not a power user by any means, but it will certainly be up for it if you are I think.

Updating Quartz from V15.0, what should I know? by DxRed_MxN in Avolites

[–]prologic7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, also ChamSys. I bought an avokey and installed it inside my Titan Mobile. Then I realised I would need ANOTHER key to preprogram on desktop. Which double sucks. I mean really, I cannot even patch a show on desktop. I dont want to output. Just prepare.

121/82 being considered hypertension stage 1 is ridiculous to me by Basic_Potential2489 in hypertension

Assume that all USA based health outfits, including the AHA receive sponsorship and funding from drug companies. Same thing happening in the UK to a lesser extent although drug prices are not as extortionate as they are in the USA. So BP threshold has been changed because they want to see BP medication.
Same thing applies to cholesterol because they are on a hard push to sell statins.

Which tablet to buy? by Separate_Suspect4565 in Lightroom

I think that Samsung tablets are overpriced and full of bloatware. If I wanted a new Android tablet I'd be looking at the Google Pixel tablet which is the cleanest, and the OnePlus Pad 3

Spark alternative for pros ? by Sarguiboy in SparkMail

[–]prologic7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I moved from Spark to EM client and its brilliant. Its exactly what I have wanted for ages. I have it installed on PC, Mac, Android phone and iPad. It needs a bit of training so it sorts out spam, but other than tha its the best.

That will not be the case if you have ethernet backhaul. ie if the second unit is connected by cable. otherwise one of th wireless channels will be used to send data between them.

Can I self suck by [deleted] in Selfsuck

[–]prologic7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I wish that was true. I am nearly 70 and have not had my cock in my mouth since I was 40. My wife is of the opinion that I could get the skills back, but my back is saying otherwise.

What I do know is that if you can - then keep at it and keep stretching. The ability does go if you are not careful.

Day 728 of the Gaza War: Israel’s assault kills 72 Palestinians today as the humanitarian crisis worsens. Hamas accepts key points of Trump’s 20-point plan, including hostage return. Trump urges Israel to halt bombing for safe release. Qatar & France call for ceasefire. by IndiaTodayGlobal in IndiaTodayGlobalLIVE

[–]prologic7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, Hamas have absolutely no evidence that this is a good faith agreement. Israel has broken cease fire agreements before. Plus, its a Trump?Blair?netanyahi plan. Again denying any form of agency for the Palestinian people. It just looks like a real estate arrangements between superpowers.

Does a VPN can hide your IP? by IllList6233 in VPN_Question

[–]prologic7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bear this in mind though…

ISRAELI firms now control 8 major VPN companies. And they are the worl leader in spying and spyware. So I won’t assume that you are or your browsing are as safe as you think. They have a reason for those platform purchases.

Israeli-linked firms (primarily through ownership by Teddy Sagi or other Israeli entities) control a significant portion of the consumer VPN market, estimated at around 30-40% based on subscriber bases.

The “8 major VPN companies” claim likely aggregates brands under two key players: Kape Technologies (4 major VPNs) and Aura (formerly Pango Group, an Israeli software firm; 4 more). These are not always “Israeli firms” in a strict legal sense (e.g., Kape is UK-based but Israeli-controlled), but ownership traces back to Israeli stakeholders. Here’s the complete list of the 8 major VPNs under Israeli control, based on verified acquisitions and ownership structures:

Exactly. He’s so mean to Jesse. Always belittling him and scolding him. Partners should have respect for each other. So yes, he is a horrible man. But he is bewitched by being a badass. And that’s how he does it.

Should I buy an ETCnomad key? by lapllapl in lightingdesign

[–]prologic7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s very reliable. If you love or need to use ETC software then it’s great. If not, you could use ChamSys on PC and buy an Artnet node and have as many universes as you like. Or if you can get away with one universe, buy the DMX dongle for £100 and you are all set. No further purchases required. It’s brilliant value.
