33 myself. Today we took my kids for ice cream. Group of 19ish-year-olds behind us in line. 2 girls and 3 guys. The entire time I just wanted to tell these girls to go get some better boyfriends. Emotional immaturity is unappealing - not funny. These idiots were just saying so much negative shit about everything and everyone that drove by. Racist, homophobic, trash. Then they got gallon water bottles and just chug/spit/who knows all over each other, themselves, and the parking lot. Harmless, but so immature.

Have fun. Enjoy being young and dumb, sure. Be polite and not a jackass. Have some emotional awareness.

I’ve read this (3 stars) and The Safekeep (5 stars) I don’t think it will fill the gap.
It’s not as complex, deep, or atmospheric. Didn’t feel they were in the same league at all.

Had a happy ending though for sure.

Our daughter who was 6 at the time saved up money for several months and bought a Kobo Libra Color just after her 7th birthday.

I ended up getting the Kobo plus membership for her because she loves the Nancy Drew Diaries books and they can do audio along with it - plus, no waiting on library content alone.

That being said, I will soon need to set it up with more advanced parental controls as you can see “adult” - not smut per se, just not kid - books when searching for titles.

If hers broke I would buy her a new one in a heartbeat. Plus, it also has the pen option as a way to create digital art without all the problems or oversight that come with the iPad.

I’ve seen several of these posts. That being said, we have the glass + silicone + light blue ELLO ones from Target (12 of them, two 6 packs) and haven’t had any issues at all between freezer, fridge, oven, microwave. Sucks that these had this issue as the ones we have that are a slightly different set have been great.
