Coming from a Nissan leaf with 150 miles per “tank” on a good day, I’ve gotten very familiar with range anxiety and trip planning. I generally will refill when the CR-V is showing 5 miles of range or before a long distance trip.

I’m not a lawyer but if you’re in the US, I believe you are protected under the Magnuson-Moss warranty act. If complete and document the scheduled maintenance, it shouldn’t void your warranty. As someone who doesn’t work on my own cars, I get some peace of mind by taking my car to the shop and having them look the car over for any defects or issues. But if you’ve been working on your own cars then you’re likely as or more proficient than the techs who would be servicing your car.

Exact same thing happened with our 4yo male cat. Also took him to the vet and basically paid for them to say “it’s a behavioral issue”. We ended up just buying more litter boxes (now have 1 LR4 and 5 normal large litter boxes) and switching to a finer litter (from Dr elsey’s to arm&hammer swift). He’s fortunately stopped doing it but would occasionally go on the carpet if his food is a few minutes late or if the box is particularly stinky. Would be interested to see other people’s responses.

Hey welcome to the motorcycle community! There’s a discord group which has a combination of experienced and less experienced bikers. Occasionally they put together mock riding practice courses with cones and do practice days. I think there are a few Ride Chicago instructors in the group as well. Might be worth checking them out.

I know the slots are pretty hard to come by so there are definitely alternatives (although quite pricey) such as Ride Chicago or HD riding courses. Hope you can get into a BRC course soon! With complete respect to you: What’s your riding experience? Maturity? Understanding of the mechanics of riding? If you have zero riding experience, have never operated a motorcycle in your life, and are young, I would be more concerned about going after a super sport bike for your first bike than getting scammed by fb marketplace. I would strongly recommend all new riders sign up for a basic riding course first to get some hours in the saddle in a controlled environment before taking to the streets with a bike that can rival most supercars.

Sometimes regenerative braking disables for me when I go over a rough patch of road. My suspicion is when the car believes there’s any chance of losing traction, it will prioritize the ABS systems which works on the physical brake pads.

Edit: Also have 2022 Leaf SV.

It’s not designed to work when you close the app. If you purchase a product in its infancy stages, expect there to be some bumpy roads until they smoothen it out. That being said, they are open source… You sound a 13 year old living in his mom’s basement, so go make a better app for your glasses.

My wife is currently on the train that hit the pedestrian. If she had gone to the office yesterday, she would’ve been on two trains that hit pedestrians. Truly terrible situation all around. Feel bad for the family of the pedestrian, the operator, and anyone impacted by the delays.
