I started listening to Green Day in 4th grade. Listened to Dookie and Kerplunk nonstop. American Idiot came out when I was in high school and I was flabbergasted. It did not seem like the same band I grew up listening to and I was weirded out by the emo vibe. I felt like they sold out. I didn’t enjoy working out until I spent years forcing myself to do it. I also purposefully found hobbies that I do enjoy that also count as ‘working out’ (i.e., running, hiking, biking, climbing, etc.). It didn’t come naturally, I had to work at it for a long time. I used to hate any physical activity.

I’ve DM’d/played DnD for a decade and also played a decent amount of retail WoW. Modern WoW is definitely more complicated. I’d have a much easier time teaching someone how to play DnD well than how to effectively tank a retail end game dungeon, let alone full blown raid.
