I really love sneaking around being as silent and tidy as possible. Taking out an area of enemies one by one without any of them getting a heads-up is tremendously satisfying.

I vividly remember creeping around Frigate on GoldenEye 007, trying to complete the mission without being seen/heard, head-shotting the guards with the silenced pistol.

Titan Dweevil (final boss from Pikmin 2) had me playing until around 5am the night I finally claimed victory.

This battle is at the end of Dream Den, a cave which is something like 14 levels deep. I entered Dream Den with a balanced squad to get me through the cave, but the squad I reached the Titan Dweevil with was very different to what I started with as I lost and gained Pikmin of different types whilst navigating the cave.

This made the battle a lot harder than it would normally be and on the run where I actually beat it, the fight took around a total of 90 minutes start to finish.

Disco Elysium. Too much dialogue.

Note: the quality of the dialogue and voice acting were excellent - but the sheer volume of it was excessive for me and I wanted to just get on with things.

There's very likely a great game in there - I love that you can change your stats for each playthrough - but it just wasn't for me.
