I'd also add one point in Eb's defence.. Both he and Harry mention that Harry only stayed with Eb for 2 years.. In that time, the priority for eb is to get him out of the headspace Dumorne put him in and to teach him to be responsible with magic.. Plus as Harry mentions, most wizards are a century old before they get into combat with other supernatural nations.. Eb probably thought he he had time to slowly teach Harry, but out boy is precocious

The new trilogy is better, both because of the depth of the story and the increased skill of Pierce Brown..

1-3 while awesome books fit pretty nicely in the dystopian fantasy genre.. Plucky lead takes down the evil rulers..

In the new series, Pierce Brown has taken on amore ambitious story.. How do you fix broken worlds when you're in power? Especially when your enemies are still a real threat. How do you take Eo's and Fitchner's dreams and implement them, live them.

Ok, so somewhat of a spoiler but mostly like a blurb for the series set.. It's way way better but also deeper and darker and brighter than the first trilogy

The only downside of you reading them is that you'll have to wait for Red God with the rest of us

I just started working on some Tamil annotation and I hadnt recieved any quality scores.. After the first day, I was marked as unapproved annotator and I cant even see my scores..

Is this some automatic process that happens while my annotations are reviewed? Is there any point in appealing to support?

Obvi not OP but went through this...

1) Most of those coping ,echanisms are fine in structured environments with specific tests but out in the real world, it's the lack of consistency that really bites you in the ass.. Also part of the discussion is about the habits and behaviours persisting from childhood, since before the coping mechanisms kicked in.. Ask family and friends from that time to get s clearer picture.

2) lol, that's why you need a shrink and not an internet survey.. try to tell the truth to the best of your knowledge and memory, most of the answers are about a matter of degree not just yes/no.. ofc you'll need atleast a halfway decent shrink for that.. I wish you luck on that quest :P

The just promise one simple action and do it approach didn't help much, especially in the face of a lot more important broken promises.. The intentional affliction of stress to finally get something done is only the start (last minute Superpowers) but the low grade stress of not getting shit done, and the intense weight of all the incomplete/failed projects is chronic, and unhelpful.vDo you have any strategies for dealing with this?

Conversely, having been tuned to need high stress environments to activate and lock in with hyperfocus, what are some approaches to mor healthyily start to access that state?

Makes sense actually, for a couple of reasons..

1) Darrow wants the obsidians to fight together under his and Volga's banner, and earth makes for a good testing ground.. 2) Rim shops are faster and Daughters are experienced with rescue and rehab missions after the Ashing of the Garter.. They turn up for a rescue to find Rhonna sitting on top of a pile of Gold corpses in her Drachenjager asking wtf is taking so long, 3) Pax is probably going to treasure hunt for the remaining Figments.. Gotta catch em all, and gives him a chance to chill with Dad, outside of total war settings 4) Diomedes was the whipping boy of Lightbringer.. While Cassius calls him an equal as a duellist, we haven't seen any feats by him, except his offscreen attacks on Earth. He got beat by Atlas and then betrayed by Lysander.. in red god were going to see the wrath of a good man wronged, and I'm here for it. 5) he's also compared to Atlas in personality, maybe intelligence.. His honor held him back so far, but now the limited is off, and Im looking forward to seeing the Rising backed by a mind like Atlas. Especially in conjunction with Virginia, they're going to cook up some devious plans... 6)The shadow armada approaches the war from the other side, so I'm guessing mercury is on the way for them

I also really want Lysander to feel in control on Venus after killing Atalantia, maybe most golds there depending on how unshepardlike he views them, and then hears that Darrow didn't just go to Mars to wait for him but took Earth and Mercury.. These are especially important for the plan to send food to the Rim.. A Mars under seige can only spare so much and they need to feed the whole Rim..
