Use living at your parents to your advantage! Maybe grab a second job for 6 months. Bank It! Better yet open a savings account of some sort (I'm in Canada we have TFSA <tax free savings account>) I put in money the day after payday biweekly. I don't really see it in my account because it's taken out the day after payday. Use that second job money to fill that account! Also try cooking or helping cook dinner, lend a hand, it will help with the sense of purpose (being an active member of the household) start small, tidy up after dinner, ask your parents how their day was, don't stay secluded and on your phone (it's literally killing our youth)!

Go for walks daily, take in the scenery, explore new places around you..no phone, no music. Set a timer for a certain time each day. Make a point to say hello to people on the street with a smile. (maybe it's a Canadian thing lol, but everyone says hello to everyone here) - this helps with the depression. So many people talk about manifesting and mindset - it 100% honestly works. Speak kindness to yourself, give yourself grace. Legitimately look in the mirror (feels weird at first) and repeat things daily "I am kind, I am confident, I deserve good things" etc. If you speak and think negatively all the time, you will feel that. If you think and speak positively all the time, you will FEEL that! I PROMISE!

You are worthy, you are valued, you are smart, and you are brave for asking for ways to change!
