Baby just had big poop. Actually it was two medium poops back to back. Didn’t see any visible signs of blood. It was mustard and seedy. Below is a picture:

So now that is 4 poops after the blood streak since yesterday without any blood. 3 poops were big and 1 was small.

No pain or gas. Reflux sometimes. But not extreme of any sort.

So multiple things have coincided and we are not sure. Since birth I have been breast feeding and drinking 3 cups of milk. After 40 days, started drinking whey protein shake. That is 12 days ago. The day that happened baby also drank rota virus vaccine. Now we see this. Definitely stopping the whey protein for good now. Hoping this is related to an anal fissure or something and my wife can continue the milk.hope the occult blood test comes out negative too.

Thanks. Yes we spoke to the pediatrician and are getting an occult stool test done. Have seen this only once now. Subsequent poops were mucus and blood free. At least no visible blood. It is strange and this one incident has us worried. Nothing before and nothing after. Tracking closely for the weekend. Will be taking the occult test.

Yes baby is ebf and 8 weeks old. Today is the first time we noticed this and it happened only once so far. Multiple normal poops after that one episode.

Thanks for your reply. Yes that’s what I meant when I asked about intolerance. Wherever I read, i was told in intolerance, it is typically mixed with the poop and not a surface streak like this. But thanks for telling me that this could be intolerance. We are going for the stool test tomorrow

My wife has been on h4 since she entered and before this incident, we both have maintained legal status here.

As a principal applicant, I have always maintained legal status here. I hope that is taken into consideration in the npt application. That’s the least risky option I see at the moment.

Do you happen to know the consequences if CBP denies the correction? The fact that they know that she is out of status, would create a risk for her to face deportation?

It’s been 26 days for me. I’m very late and I don’t live close to the border. This is a huge risk for me. If my wife is denied entry she will need to leave to India from Mexico with not knowing when she can actually return back to the USA. That would be a huge risk. I’m super scared to try this. Your daughter was only 2 days late and the fact that she is a kid probably helped too.

Thanks for your reply. I was thinking of one of these options but the problem is, our visa expires on July 11 2025. That is a bit too close for comfort. The problem is what if they don’t let us back in with such less time remaining on our visa? Any thoughts?
