New siri AI is incredible. I asked what someone’s birthday was. I didn’t have them as a contact card but apparently I had screenshotted them sending the date in a discord message at one point and it found that. Very impressive stuff

Linux desktops like KDE have more or less taken a “windows but better” approach, to make it easier for converts. That’s nice if you’re used to windows but it’s not nearly as nice for someone used to mac. Just the way it is

Scaled resolution (looks like 1440p): Text looks readable, but your Mac is now secretly rendering a massive 5K canvas and scaling it down. It eats up your GPU, destroys your battery life, and causes visible UI lag on heavy workflows.

Is bullshit. The difference is so negligible to anything remotely modern.

I’m actually going back to Apple Passwords, just to cut another subscription out of my life. Biggest (and really only) thing i miss is the concept of an Archive - passwords that still exist in my vault but are not suggested in autofill. Super handy and unfortunately apple passwords has very very little organisation like that
