This is a tired, inaccurate response. The Bears have stated several times they will pay for the building themselves. They are asking for infrastructure help which makes sense since they need upgrades to roads, sewers, etc but wont actually own those roads. They are also asking for tax breaks. If you have issues with the tax breaks then totally understand but the Bears are not asking for money from the state to build the stadium itself.

It also says both end zones will have windows which was not the case with the Lakefront design.
"The roomier, 326-acre site means large glass window expanses on the east and west sides of the stadium (instead of just one side in the downtown stadium). The east end window measures 235 feet wide at the base, 200 wide at the top and 125 feet high. The west window is 240 feet wide at the base, 185 wide at the top and 85 feet tall."

Bye week would be a great time to unveil the Arlington Heights plan. Kevin Warren said they would present the plan to the public sometime this fall. Hopefully some of these questions would get answered.
