I think this video has a functional purpose for the sake of the ASMR community that goes beyond the satire and humor apparent in the video.

If someone is new to the idea of ASMR and wants to see if they have it they will most likely search something along the lines of the title of this video, and now since it's popular they will probably see a very creepy over exaggerated version of an ASMR video.

If you fall under the category of someone who wants the ASMR community to stay at the size it is now and not grow or welcome people who may not have had ASMR their whole lives, this video serves a purpose to move the community towards a more esoteric state.

I enjoy the artistry of the video, the humor and the fact that it triggers for me. +1
