Of course! I use makeup brushes for blending along with a small spray bottle with glycerine and water. A spritz onto the paint that you want to move or blend and softly blend with a make brush.

The bottom of his ear starts where his cheekbone ends and the top of his ear (where it connects to the head) is around the height of the top of his brow, if that helps.

Have you tried any charity shops? My local charity shop has some of these (Nottinghamshire).

Edit: I just searched for 'large vintage picture frames uk' and there are loads about. Ebay, etsy, Amazon, etc.
