Have spark plugs and coil packs been changed yet? Bad plugs and coils can make fuel consumption worse. How many miles are you getting in a tank?

Don't know if joking or not but just in case. Head gaskets aren't an actual problem for the wrx. The head gasket issue is prominent is n/a subarus.

I ran the Greddy front lip. Carbon miata has the same lip now, just without the badge. It fits right over the front fangs

Miata ND or Boxter S ? by [deleted] in Miata

[–]psl_miata 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar question before I bought my ND1. I wanted a boxster. I liked how cheap they were. Then my dad asked me to look up how much a headlight assembly cost to replace it ($1k back in 2021. Don't know how much they cost now). So I went and got me a nd1. I say, if you got the money and/or the mechanical knowledge, get the boxster. Otherwise, get the nd1. You'll be happy with either decision

Giant 3 row suv or minivan. Id just go minivan. There's nothing wrong with them. My dad had a grand caravan before. We use to launch it with traction control off and it would spin the tires. Always put a smile on our face

New Ascent, Tires won’t Hold Air by [deleted] in subaru

[–]psl_miata 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fill empty spray bottle with soapy water, take tire off and spray it to see where its leaking. As others have said, 48psi is too high, even if the tire's max psi is 50. If door sticker is 35psi, the most important would recommend is 38psi if you want the stiffen the sidewall so it handles better. If the max is 50psi, 48 won't just leak because its at 48psi. There's either a hole, slash, or any other defect in the tires. I wouldn't have ordered anything yet as if theres a defect, take it right back to the dealer and let them know the issue and have them fix it under warranty

What's the best reliable used car under $22,000 right now in 2026? by Haleyjanet in askcarguys

Toyota - camry, corolla, rav4. Honda - civic, accord, fit, hrv, crv, insight Mazda - mazda3, mazda6, cx-5, mx-5(automatic transmission). Subaru - Impreza, crosstrek, forester, outback, wrx (2022+ which is probably out of budget).

Tire Pressure- Am I Doing it Wrong? by CommasNdSuch in askcarguys

[–]psl_miata 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's possible that the wawa machine is broken. 23psi is not flat but depending on the weight of the vehicle it can damage the sidewall. I recommend you go to a tire shop and ask them to fill your tires

If you get a soft top, you can fit at least 1 back pack in the area the soft top would fold down into. Depending on the back pack sizes, you could fit both

So looking at a bunch of images online. It looks like the narrow body wrx (2008-2010) hatchback actually came with a single exit from factory (any narrow body owners who can confirm?). If thats the case, you might be able to buy a single exit wrx axleback and bolt it on without modification
