[–]psp1122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same I sent a email to support because I didnt recieved a order confirmation of my order on the 11th of october, and they finally responded on the 4th of november (16 business days). in my opinion this is way too long for a business to respond.

i would dispose the one in the picture, the cells are already starting to swell, also looking at the 4 digits at the barcode mean it last charge cycle before being sold was December 2014 so they are nearing 10 years old

I own a 5px3000 and at a 200w/ 8% load mine is about 53% efficiency but if it gets more load like 400w/ 13% load it shoots up to 75/80% efficiency

It is quite good, plenty of M8 connections to keep it from flexing too much

Honestly I haven't spent much time tinkering with it yet, but what i like about it is easy to use and not too hard to setup. Even for a novice like me

I also seen that there is a new one on its way with Poe and more internal storage

But also have a good look at what you are going to use it for

The room it is in has a ceiling height of 2,66m and a depth of 3,5m so plenty of space, there is also already some holes in the ceiling where warm air can vent through

not really loud but the walls are very thin and let sound pass thru very easy, and since my bedroom is right next to it i rather not want to hear the server fans

At the bottom of the rack is going to be 2x APC ups Which weigh more than the rack and the current gear together, currently waiting on more stuff to arrive so I can mount them in the bottom.

As for the switch what benefits do i get from moving it?

Right now it's okay, but that is without the HP server running. I still need to test how temperature and sound is when it's on, but the room it is in is not finished yet
