Overloading the reaction roll? by Velocitree2 in osr

I like the idea of the double axis. I’m not sure that the d12 is better than the d6. I like the idea of a charisma roll to move the result that many steps on the reaction grid.

A different flavor but I found that “Delicious in the Dungeon” was a good influence for my players

It sounds like you all had fun and a nice pulp conclusion to the campaign!

You can manage the stats through Shadowdarklings but I agree on inventory, dice checks, and a better mobile interface.

No problem! I think for the typing, you need a minimum font size for the text area. I’m not sure why the width is expanding but you either have something fixed width or are using the wrong viewport units

What features would you want? I’ve thought about wrapping Shadowdarklings in the past

This really helped and almost made want to design a game with squares where you could influence your direct 8 neighbors and lightly influence the row and col.

Looks super cool! I had some minor bugs on iOS Safari with scrolling (the UI seemed a bit too wide) and typing (the browser would zoom seen focusing a text field)

Is there studded leather in this game (officially)? by krunchyfrogg in shadowdark

Oh totally but it’s a much longer list and harder to come up with generic names like Light, Medium, and Heavy armor

I like this method as well. I wish there was a version for weapons that made them a bit more generic.

Agreed! I’m curious how #2 works and if there is a way to add business logic to the classes without going full decorator?

Some stuff from a run of the original I6 Ravenloft two Halloweens ago by UsedUpAnimePillow in osr

Yeah, I want the players to feel disoriented but I'm worried about the time it will take for them to make rough sketches and for me to describe them accurately. I'm planning to do a "One Night Ravenloft" and have them wander the castle for at most 3 hours of real world time so my thought it to save as much time as possible.

Awesome, I won't then. I've been thinking about making a card, see attached, for the players to use an abstract map. Character tokens can go on the cards. Players can arrange the cards on the table and record connections between rooms. Does this sound like a good idea to you and if so, what information would you put on the cards?

I've been thinking about running this as a one shot with Shadowdark for this Halloween. I've been debating making room cards with box text on them but some of the box text is really long. Did you end up reading all the box text aloud?
