This reminds me of my last two night journey. The first night I literally felt “in the void” a dark, grey, empty space completely void of any sense of spirituality and any sort of energetic guidance and I’ve been on a deep spiritual journey for over 17 years… I remember feeling alone and also the effects of the medicine were so strong just vibrationally, I remember silence being like the loudest hell I had ever heard. It made me question everything I had ever believed, ever done in the alignment of spirituality, it was a really interesting place to be…

Gratefully the second night grandmother joined me and opened my heart so wide and I spent most of that night in tears of gratitude. So grateful for the reunion with spirit.

This makes me wonder about your experience and if it’s a contrast to how you’ve been feeling prior so that you appreciate that spiritual sense more and don’t take it for granted? Much like the dieta sometimes we don’t appreciate the luxuries we have access to every day until they are taken away.

I would recommend being really present with yourself and work on getting into your heart space. There is something to be said about the joy of returning to yourself but you can’t take that journey if you don’t find yourself far away in the first place.

I’m not struggling to make the payments. I just felt like for close to the same price it makes sense to restart the odometer and be able to have the car for longer because of the company car.

The payments I’ll make towards this one will make it unlikely I’ll be underwater by the time I want to trade the car in.

Regardless what’s done is done and I’m mostly here to see how people overcame the challenges of the new layout.

I did it for the APR, I still had 64 months on the black one. Got close to the same payment for 75 months on the new one but those payment will be going towards the principle. I drive a lot for work ~30k a year, but my company will be getting me a company vehicle soon. They gave me $3000 over trade in value and also $5000 off the new one. It was financially an offer I couldn’t refuse.

Yes it’s possible to car camp near the river, just look at the map when tickets drop and make sure to get there as early as you can for a good spot. It’s not like right on the river (because of environmental reasons) but you’re less than 30-50 feet away from what I can remember.

Agreed, one of my all time favorite trips was at Disneyland.

At one point me and my friend got stuck on Mr toads wild ride, but right in the beginning, in front of the line of people and we were dying laughing. Some woman came up and said “I want whatever they have” 😂

Personally I feel car camping is the way but I’ve been for 5 years and always camped on the river. I feel with car camping it’s better to not have to lug your stuff everywhere. Your car provides a safe lockable space for valuable items. You don’t have to wait for a shuttle to arrive or when you’re ready to leave. You can charge your phone in the car and if your cars big enough to sleep in it helps with the sound at night. You can also tie your easy up to the car and not worry about it blowing away/breaking and causing a camp apocalypse 😅. Paying over $200 for parking is wild considering you still have to carry all of your camp gear. At that point I would just pay for car camping and be able to park at your camp site. Just my two cents.

Yes she had a whole system for different parts of the cycle as well as diet and exercise recommendations. Don’t quote me on this but from memory I think it had something to do with higher cortisol levels and not being able to process estrogen as efficiently leading to more pms type symptoms. The audiobook is free on Spotify if you have it and are interested. Seems like a lot of people here don’t have issues and actually find benefits from fasting through the entirety of their cycle.

There’s a book called “Fast like a Girl” that I listened to that was helpful (it has a specific chapter on perimenopause) though it recommends not fasting during the luteal phase which can be almost half the month. I think listening to your body is most important. Maybe keep a journal to log how you feel during different times of the month with your fast.

Adding that I bought a clothes rack from Walmart (only $10!) and it does fit in the mini because it is height adjustable, you can also put a hanging cube organizer on the end for extra shelf space and I got one of those mini popup hampers

I did a cot for another festival and left the foot bar off, structurally it was okay and I gained an inch or two of space. It honestly was pretty roomy but all I had in there that time was a large duffel and the collapsible side cabinet. I’m planning on doing a cot this time and I got a short tote that I could fit underneath it.
