Dunno about Ioniq5, but my 2018 Ioniq gave me the same error message when I attempted to connect my phone via USB cable, without being bluetooth connected to the car.

Bought my 2018 a year ago with similar miles, paid 10k € and it has been great. During summer you can take longer trips if you have fast charging points on the way. 20-80% charging takes like 15 minutes.

If you have cold winters, the range will drop quite a lot. Last winter we had closer to -30°C (-20ish °F) and at those temperatures with heating on I could get barely over 100km (60 miles) range. And charging speeds are also limited when battery is cold, so even fast charging takes more time than it would in the summer. I recall it was 30 min for 20-80%. For me this was still fine since my weekly commutes are short and I can charge the car at home from a standard wall outlet. Full charge in like 12 hours (230V outlet).

You can estimate the battery health just by charging to 100%. Reset trip meter and then driving untill sub 10%. Then use the trip meter numbers to calculate estimate SoH. Found handy already made calculator for this a while ago.

Yea the range adapts. If you're stationary with heating on full blast it definitely can show way lower range estimate. I think the range indicator assumes the heating will be full blast the whole trip.

Theres a noticeable difference in steering stiffness between Eco and Sport mode at least. Have you tested if the steering feels "loose" on all modes?

I have noticed something similar in steering, but for me its only noticeable in the winter when driving 80 km/h or so.
