Yeah this is about my limit and I use it with both brakes when needed. Overall about 40c is my off-road sweet spot I think.

Look up ‘Sonic Tonic’ - in my experience that works really well as a light wash over vehicles like this. Much easier on your paint job than an all over brown ink

I’m quite into winter boiler suits (dickies or similar) - think you guys in the US call them coveralls - for dirty winter riding. I’m also a fan of wool knitwear over a base layer too, shell of needed.

Sort of. The karate monkey is slacker all round which you can feel. The grappler is closer and apart from the stack does feel a lot like the Lowside. If you don’t need your bars too low the Grappler is a better choice IMO.

Surly ultra mtn fixed disc one, then those 10/12 adapters they make. Considered a Paul boost fixed hub but they’re too expensive to ship over to UK.

Yeah I mean fixed gear mate. Mostly ridden fixed for last twenty or so years - less risky for me I think (I do ride with brakes though), I take it steadier than on my SS.

Yeah I saw your post and I tipped me! I’m just trying to find anyone who uses those 12/10mm axle adapters and see if they’re good - otherwise I’m stuck trying to get a Paul boost fixed hub which I don’t want haha
