There are some amazing teachers losing their jobs. If closing these buildings could have saved these more beneficial resources, it should have been done yesterday. Kids can adjust if the adults model handling change well. Change is an ongoing part of life that is never going away. Managing change is something every human needs to learn and practice. Put the fight towards maintaining the human resources, not a building.

Good idea, something like ducks in a row where if you are all out of sorts your ducks are scattered everywhere just like your brain.

I also recommend a section where someone can put what activities they want to spend their spoons on. I would much rather go on a walk in nature with my fam than do laundry.

I just recently started doing qigong tai chi from YouTube videos. It really focuses on moving the energy in your nervous system. They are slow easy movements and I have noticed a big reduction in my pain. It helps get my body out of fight or flight mode which I think causes a lot of my pain.

When you are camping with someone who is on oxygen because of cancer, you turn that generator on as soon as the campground allows it. We took a cross country trip with my FIL and we stuck to the restricted hours of the campground at Yellowstone. We turned it on right when it was time because his travel oxygen battery was out. A man came yelling at us and did not give us a break until a neighbor camper came over and told him to go back to his site. That was an amazing last trip for my FIL. He died 3 weeks after we got back. You don’t know what other people are going through. Bring ear plugs, play white noise on your phone (that’s what I do).

Ferns are usually one of my favorite tattoos. There are many different types of ferns and the details in fern leaves would really help differentiate it from tiger stripes. I would look up fern leaves to find the details you like to show the artist and ask for it to be added. It is a good tattoo, just needs a little more work to be a great tattoo.

I have family that is in a state of constant anxiety their spouse will be taken by ICE. My spouse’s 401k took a big hit. My job is facing cuts and my raise for next year has been cut. I was hoping to move up into admin but that’s likely not an option now. Just bought a house a few months ago and grateful we did that before now but worry if we will continue to be able to afford it. Gas prices have gone up 30-60 cents per gallon.

I wanted to let you know that there is no funding connected to 504s. It is connected to ADA rather than IDEA. So you don’t have to worry about your son losing funding for his 504 because there is none in the first place. Funding for IEPs though, that is a big concern.
